Kam Dixon will step up to the 2027 ZYN British Superbike Championship aboard a Kawasaki ZX-10RR with all-new Norfolk-based team Fireworks Racing.
The 21-year-old from Norwich will embark on his rookie Superbike campaign with Team Principal Derek Killaspy and Crew Chief Sam Palmer, continuing relationships that have supported his progression through the British championship paddock.
Killaspy has sponsored Dixon through Fireworks for the past two years and will now provide the opportunity for him to take the next step into Britain’s premier motorcycle racing championship.

Dixon said: “I'm really excited to have been given this opportunity to ride the Fireworks Racing Kawasaki ZX-10RR Superbike next season. 2027 seems like as good a time as any to make the leap into the premier class. The rule changes and Kawasaki chassis characteristics look to suit my riding style, so I’m super excited to get out on the new bike next month.
“I can’t thank Derek at Fireworks enough for believing in me and providing a platform to develop as a rider and show what I can do.”
Dixon began racing in motocross at the age of six before moving into road racing in 2018. He progressed through Superteens and Junior Supersport before joining the Pirelli National Superstock Championship in 2024.
As the youngest rider on the Superstock grid, he recorded multiple top-10 finishes in his rookie season. He achieved a career-best seventh place in 2025 and qualified as high as fifth following a mid-season switch to Honda machinery.
Dixon has continued to be a regular top-10 finisher in 2026, with a best result of eighth, and is preparing to get his first experience of the Fireworks Racing Kawasaki next month.
Killaspy commented: “Motorcycles have been a lifelong passion of mine and sponsoring Kam for the past two years has made me realise that I wanted to provide the opportunity for him to be able to ride in the Superbike class.
“Alongside our technical partners, the goal is to enable him to grow as a rider and progress over the next few years. We are all very excited about the project and looking forward to an exciting 2027.”
Palmer, who has supported Dixon since his time in Junior Supersport, will continue as Crew Chief. He brings more than 25 years of motorcycle racing experience, including two National Superstock 1000 championship-winning campaigns with Danny Buchan aboard Kawasaki machinery, with Tsingtao Kawasaki in 2014 and Morello Kawasaki in 2017.
His wider Kawasaki experience includes working as Crew Chief for Ryan Vickers during his debut BSB season with Lee Hardy Racing’s RAF Regular & Reserves Kawasaki team in 2019, supporting Jake Dixon within the team in 2018, and working as a technician for the Official Kawasaki Road Racing team with David “Davo” Johnson at the Isle of Man TT in 2024 and 2025.
The 2027 season gets underway at Oulton Park on 1st - 3rd May, following official tests at Donington Park on 26th - 27th March and Oulton Park on 20st - 21th April. The 11-round championship will conclude at Brands Hatch on 15th - 17th October.
